Due to Turkey's location between 36-42 degrees north latitude, it is in a sunny position. The annual sunshine duration in Turkey is 2,640 hours. Considering this value, it can be seen that there is an energy potential of 1,311 kWh per square meter. Turkey has a highly efficient solar energy potential, and this efficiency increases as you move south.
